St Albans Folk Festival, held over a weekend close to Anzac Day, is home to quality Traditional & Contemporary Folk Music, Australian Bush Music, Music Sessions, Workshops, Dances, Poetry and Children’s Activities. The event showcases local and international performers, song writers and musicians. The festival runs a market of food, produce and other stalls. Patrons travel for the day or camp on the banks of the McDonald River 20 kms from Wisemans Ferry in the beautiful Hawkesbury River area, North of Sydney and West of Gosford.
The village has one of the oldest pubs in Australia, the Settlers Arms and a Historical Cemetery.
It’s a great vibe, very well established and affordable fun festival. Come for the 3 days or just a day.
Located near Wisemans Ferry, (just 1 or 2 hours from Sydney, The Central Coast or Newcastle).
Four great performance venues clustered around camping areas and the historic Settlers Arms pub on the river.
Fabulous diverse musical acts, interesting workshops, craft & food stalls plus “Jammers Heaven” around the campfires and fun galore for the kids.
Regarded by many as “the best little festival going”.
