Dementia Australia will host a Carer Wellness Program in Picton on Thursday 14

This session focuses on the health and wellbeing of those involved in caring for a person living with dementia, whether they live with you or elsewhere. Carers may include partners, family members and friends.<\/p>\n

You will learn about the impact of dementia on carer wellbeing, the importance of self-care, managing stress, strategies for looking after yourself, and services and support. This is a group session where you will meet and talk to other carers, with an optional follow up call from the facilitator.<\/p>\n

Suitable for: Partners, family carers, family members, and friends of people living with dementia.
\nIt is not open to paid carers, health or aged care workers as professional development.<\/p>\n

Morning tea and lunch provided \u2013 Please contact the organiser ahead of time if you have any dietary requirements.<\/p>\n
