Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and use alternative routes where possible.<br>Electronic message signs will also be in place to direct road users through these changes. <br>Pedestrian and cyclist detours continue to be in place on Mulgoa Road, Castlereagh Road, High Street and Jane Street for their safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How will the work affect you?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the work, every effort will be made to minimise the impact on residents and businesses by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>using non-tonal reversing beepers on machinery<\/li><li>turning off equipment and vehicles when not in use<\/li><li>using lighting towers only when necessary<\/li><li>directing noise generating equipment away from resident properties where possible.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project team will use a variety of machinery to excavate the existing road and install drainage, including excavators, bogie trucks, road saws, heavy and light vehicles, compactors, lighting towers, and power and hand tools.<br>Please keep to speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
