For almost thirteen years Vintage FM has been broadcasting in Penrith and the Greater West of Sydney. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the last 12-months we have migrated a lot of our audience to listen to Vintage FM online through iHeartRadio and our website. The digital streams deliver a crystal-clear stereo sound, better than the FM signal.
Due to many challenges with the 87.8FM frequency in the Penrith area, combined with the fact that lots of listeners now tune in via streaming services, we announce the ceasing of transmission of Vintage FM on 87.8FM. This is a decision that has not been made lightly, however, to maintain viability of our business, we have been left with no other alternative.
Vintage FM will continue to be broadcast on its main frequency 88.7FM. Unfortunately, it does not cover all the area that the 87.8FM frequency did.
You will be able to continue streaming Vintage FM through our website, and you can also stream Vintage FM through the Vintage FM, iHeartRadio and TuneIn apps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We thank you for your support of Vintage FM in Penrith over the past 12 years, and be assured, the music you love from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s will always be available to you on Vintage FM.
