Penrith City Chemical Cleanout Day

Penrith Council is hosting a Chemical Cleanout day, inviting residents to bring in their unwanted chemical materials to be disposed of.

Items to be collected on the day include:

• Solvents and household cleaners;
• Floor care products;
• Ammonia-based cleaners;
• Pesticides and herbicides;
• Poisons;
• Pool chemicals;
• Hobby chemicals;
• Motor fuels;
• Fluorescent globes and tubes;
• Acids and alkalis;
• Smoke detectors;
• Paint and paint-related products;
• Gas bottles;
• Fire extinguishers;
• Car and household batteries; and
• Motor oils and cooking oils.

The event will be held at The Kingsway Sporting Fields in Werrington on Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5 from 9am to 3:30pm
