Camden
Event Scheduled at Camden Town Farm – CANCELLED
Camden Council will instead celebrate Australia day with an online program.
Australia Day Award Winners Announced – Winners of the awards will be announced on Council’s Facebook page, by Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, at 9am.

Wollondilly
Picton Botanic Gardens 8.30am – 12 noon.
This year the Australia Day Celebrations will be scaled back to a controlled outdoor official ceremony with all market / information stalls and amusement rides cancelled.
The formal Citizenship and Australia Day Awards Ceremonies will continue as planned under COVID safe protocols.
The celebrations will begin at 8:30am with the Highland Pipes and Drums static performances, followed by an Aboriginal Welcome and Smoking Ceremony, then the official ceremony.
Come along and wear your best Australia Day outfit for a chance to win $300, $150 or $75 shop local vouchers.
Join us in welcoming our new citizens and be part of the excitement as the winners of the Australia Day Civic awards are announced.
Council will also be streaming the event live on Wollondilly Shire Council’s Facebook page.
Campbelltown
Event at Koshigaya Park – CANCELLED
Keep an eye out on the Campbelltown Council website and social media to watch the Australia Day Awards ceremony from 9am on Wednesday 26 January 2022.

Wingecarribee / Southern Highlands
Berrima Street Parade & Market Place Activities – CANCELLED
For the third year running (due to bushfires and COVID), council have had to cancel the parade and market place activities .
An online Australia Day ceremony will be arranged, where 30 residents will become citizens and the Citizen / Young Citizen of the Year will be announced. It is also hoped that the appointed Australia Day Ambassador, Mr Amar Singh from Turbans4Australia will make his address (this is yet to be confirmed).

Penrith
Events at Cables Wake Park and Ripples Leisure Centre – CANCELLED
Australia Day Carnival at Panthers (The Backyard) from 2pm – Carnival rides, live music, Tim Tams & Lamington food eating competitions, thong throwing and more. Entry is FREE.
Blue Mountains
Glenbrook Park 7.30am-10.30am
Rotary Club of Lower Blue Mountains – Community Breakfast BBQ with light entertainment and flag raising ceremony.
Hawkesbury
Governor Phillip Park Windsor 7pm to 9am.
Hawkesbury Council will be holding a smaller Australia Day on the Hawkesbury event this year than we originally planned.
Australia Day on the Hawkesbury will be held at Governor Phillip Park, Windsor from 7pm to 9pm.Residents are invited to bring their friends and family and enjoy a relaxing picnic by the shores of the Hawkesbury River. There will be some light entertainment, and a small selection of food trucks.
Visitors can bring their own picnic dinner or buy their food on the night. The evening will end with the ever-popular fireworks display at 9pm.
The carnival rides and activities, and the emergency services display, will not be held.
Australiana Pioneer Village – Rose Street, Wilberforce 9am to 4pm
A full day of fun, Live Entertainment, historical demonstrations and displays, train and tractor rides, aussie games, food stalls and more. NSW Health and Covid Safe rules will apply.
