Australia Day celebrations are back in Camden for 2023! Come down and celebrate with Roaming Entertainment between 9am-10am and the Macarthur Lions Australia Day Street Parade commencing at 10am.

Koshigaya Park
Grab your picnic chairs, family and friends and celebrate Australia Day 2023 in your own backyard at Koshigaya Park from 4pm-9pm.
There’s plenty to see and do with free rides and inflatables for the kids, free activities and live music as well as lots of delicious food trucks and more.

Wingecarribee / Southern Highlands
Berrima – Courthouse Museum
Wingecarribee’s 2023 Australia Day celebrations will begin with a Citizenship Ceremony outside the historic Berrima Courthouse Museum to welcome more than 50 new citizens who are residents to the region.
There will not be the street parade that has been held in the past but all the key elements will still be there to enjoy, all day. From friendly fun, with local food-and-wine pop-ups lining the laneways of Berrima, forge action from the village blacksmith, live entertainment and more!
Penrith
Pool parties this Australia Day at Ripples Leisure Centres – Penrith & St Marys
Celebrate Australia Day with a free pool party at Ripples Leisure Centres at Penrith and St Marys on Thursday 26 January, 8am-6pm. Enjoy free entry, poolside activities and games, as well as free breakfast and sweet treats. With a DJ spinning summer beats and roving performers, it’s a great way to cool off and have some fun this Australia Day!
As part of our celebration, council will be giving away bush tucker plants as a take home memory of the day (limited quantities available). Grown by Muru Mittigar of Dharug Country this bush tucker plant is a way that participants can reflect and respect the history of local Indigenous people as well as celebrate their culture.
This event is hosted by Penrith City Council and assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
Australia Day Carnival at Panthers (The Backyard) from 2pm – Carnival rides, live music, food eating competitions, thong throwing and more.

Celebrate Australia Day at the beautiful Governor Phillip Park. Live music, rides, roving entertainment, food and of course the event highlight, the magnificent fireworks display on the river.
Australiana Pioneer Village – Rose Street, Wilberforce 9am to 4pm
Celebrate Australia Day at Australiana Pioneer Village with a full day of fun and entertainment. Enjoy shops, rides, displays, food, music, games and so much more…
Activities with additional costs include penny arcade, pony rides, miniature train rides, carriage rides, hay wagon rides.
Blacktown
Australia Day Concert and Fireworks at Rooty Hill
