Camden Council, in association with Local Government NSW, will be facilitating a Pre-Election Candidate Briefing on Monday, 29 July 2024 for those interested in becoming a Councillor to gain a better understanding of the role and responsibilities as an elected member of Council.
It will be held at the Camden Council Administration Building Oran Park from 5:30pm
Councillors can play a key role in making decisions that influence both the short-term concerns and long-term strategic direction of their local community. It is a big commitment, and prospective Councillors need to know what will be expected of them – the challenges, responsibilities and opportunities.
This session is designed to provide those interested in becoming a candidate with the information they will need to make a considered decision.

The session will be conducted by experienced Local Government NSW facilitator, Maire Sheehan.
Please note that this free session is limited to 20 attendees. Registration to attend the session is essential.
If the session is booked out, you will have the opportunity to register for the waitlist and you will be contacted if a place subsequently becomes available.
