Gipps Street Recreation Precinct – Grand Opening

On Saturday 31 August 2024, Penrith City Council will officially open the Gipps Street Recreation Precinct in Claremont Meadows.
11am-3pm.
There will be lots to see and do!
Workshops, sports demonstrations from Sydney Thunder, Giants Netball, Girdiron with the Nepean Ducks, Soccer clinics with the Nepean Football Association and Sydney Regional Aboriginal Corporation Deadly Touch Tag.
There will also be face painting, garden games, make-your-own kite workshops, roving entertainment, live music, trackless train rides and free hot beverages and sausage sizzle
All the activities and workshops are FREE for everyone to enjoy!
There will also be a FREE shuttle bus operating from 10am -4pm between St Marys Station, Gipps St and Caddens.
