Blue Mountains Steam FunFest

The Valley Heights Rail Museum will host Blue Mountains Steam FunFest on July 10-12.
For the first time Transport Heritage NSW will bring 124 year old steam locomotive 3265 from the NSW Rail Museum to the Blue Mountains Steam FunFest where ticket holders can inspect the locomotive cab and speak to the locomotive crew.
It is recommended pre-booking tickets for train rides.
Event Highlights
- Tickets include not 1 but 2 heritage steam ride experiences.
- Locomotive cab inspections.
- Display of historic steam and other machinery.
- Two model railways and all the museum’s usual exhibits inside the 112 year old heritage listed roundhouse.
- Live music by Jerrah Patston (Friday) and the Little Black Ducks (Saturday).
