Clothing and Textile Recycling Drop-off Event

A Clothing & Textile Recycling Drop off day will be held on Saturday May 10 from 9am-3:30pm at the Kingsway Playing Fields in Werrington.

This event will provide an opportunity to drop off unwanted clothing and textile items for recycling with Textile Recyclers Australia (TRA) for free, helping to divert valuable resources from landfill.  

Items accepted at the event include clothing, shoes, accessories (e.g., hats, belts & bags), and linens (e.g., sheets & towels).  

Brand new items (with tags) will be donated to local charities, such as The Haven – Nepean Women’s Shelter and WestCare Community Services. 

Embroidered items such as uniforms can be safely recycled.  

Bring your unwanted items in a bag or box, loaded into the back of your boot, and our friendly team will help you unload them at the event.
