Commemorative Service for Veterans from Middle East Conflicts

St Marys RSL sub-Branch is hosting a commemorative and networking event on Friday 10th October, for veterans and their family, especially veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts between 2001 and 2021.

We invite you to join with us in remembrance and reflection of all such veterans and in particular, those who were/are impacted through their experience in Service for our Nation.

The event in the auditorium of St Marys Diggers Club, will commence at 6:00pm, with a brief Commemorative Service at 7:00pm.

Our guest speaker will be Del Gaudry CSC. Del has had a decorated Royal Australian Air Force Career of over 23 years. Del has also held various positions in Tri- Service, Airforce and Ex Service organisations and is currently the National President of the Defence Force Welfare Organisation.

While the ‘tribute ceremony’ will be minimal, opportunity will be given to any who wish to come forward to lay a tribute. No prior notice is required. After the Commemorative Service, time will be available for networking and for veterans to visit information desks regarding advocacy, and various other areas of potential interest.
