Wollondilly Council monthly Bushcare Busy Bee Blitz at Hume Oval, down on Stonequarry Creek.
Friday October 4 – 9am to 11:30am.
Help recreate native habitat for our local birds, insects and lizards. The trees we have previously planted around Picton Sportsground have created a home for a resident Swamp Wallaby so we know our efforts really do work.
Volunteers have been working consistently on this site for over 6 months and it really is starting to look good. Consistency is the key and as the saying goes many hands make light work. The site is a very peaceful place to work where we chat and learn along the way. Helping to hold back the weeds and get and wonderful diversity of native plants established across the site.
