Described as ‘An Important, Critical and big step’ by NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian; Pubs, Clubs and Restaurants in NSW will be allowed to have up to 50 patrons inside their venue at one time as of June 1st.
Businesses will still have to comply with the 4 square metre rule, so smaller venues will still be limited on the number of diners they can have, but this will allow larger businesses to start to consider to reopen.
A maximum of 10 people per group or table will be enforced, and patrons must be seated inside the venue, standing for drinks will not be allowed.
